2026 Help Us With our Yearly Technology and Website Costs

Please Note: There are changes to cost in 2026

My desire is to be transparent with everyone and show you the annual cost to keep Good Berean channel up and running. Below is a breakdown of tools, resources, and management technology that keeps everything going:

1. Website & Domain= 

   a. Website & domain = $430/year ($36/month)

   b. EVMux Live Broadcasting Software = $300/year ($25/month)

   c. Fraud Protection = $100/year ($8/month)

Purpose = provides a place to get free Bible & discipleship resources for yourself and others. Fraud Protection = throughout 2025 people who donated to the channel ($1) requested a refund which causes a $16 bank-fee charge back from Shopify. This has caused a couple hundred dollars in charge backs implementing a fraud protection to safeguard these events. 

2. Video Production Software = 

   a. Motion FX for Final Cut Pro = $550/year ($45/month) 

   b. CapCut = $120/year ($10/month)

   c. Teleprompter Software = $90/year ($7.50/month)

   d. Descript software = $288/year ($24/month)

Purpose = speeds up recording and editing time and gets more content created quicker

3. Creative & Bible Study Software =  

  a. Canva = $120/year ($10/month)

  b. Logos Pro = $132/year ($11/month)

Purpose = helps with thumbnail creation, slide presentations,  video b-roll, Scripture connections, root words, dictionaries, and more

4. Physical Hardware & Storage = 

   a. 2 Samsung SSD Backup drive = $640 (one-time purchase need for 2026)

   Purpose = will help with additional storage needed to backup the work I do. 

5. Video Editor = 

   a. Subscription service of $1,000/month via Vidpros

 Purpose = will help edit to be able to produce more content. Note: I will only proceed with the subscription if donations come in to justify it. Otherwise I will continue to edit myself. 

Total 2026 Costs to Keep Channel running = $2,770 ($230/month)
