Exegetical Observations Workbook | Hebrews (KJV)

The Exegetical Observations Workbook (E°W) is unlike any Bible tool on the market today. When studying God's Word there are so many things that can distract us from the text or tell us how to read the text.

Philosophy of Design: Read and study God's Word in its closest to original format as possible. This study tool is intended to help bring the Bible back to its original reading experience and constructed to help you dive deeper into God's Word. This new Bible layout is called Original Letter Format and the overall design is intended to be distraction-free so you can focus on what matters most - the Text! 

1. No Chapters or Verse Numbers: When the Bible was composed there was no chapter or verse numbers. These are great as a reference tool, but good exegesis demands the removal of these to best understand the context. Minimalistic dashes will represent the start of a new chapter. These discrete markings help you know a new chapter is starting if needed but easy to hide due to its subtleness. 

2. Text Size & Margins: The E°W has a large 12-point font with breathable space between words so you can underline/circle/etc. without the bleed over that many journaling Bibles have. In addition to this, the text is center column with over 2" margins on both sides. There's not a resource out there with this large of a font and this large of margins on both sides of the text currently. 

3. No Cross-References, Maps, or Commentary: Often included resources in many Bibles are cross-references, maps, and even commentary. Cross-references and maps can be helpful, but the E°W focus is to help the reader focus on just the text and really try to draw from what the text is saying (an essential and foundational exegetical step). Beyond this the E°W has no commentary for the purpose to not tell you what the text is saying but for you to draw out what the text is saying! 

4. Included Exegetical Steps, Questions, and Best Practices: The E°W not only has the best format for true Bible study it also includes great exegetical questions to ask as you read the text. Categories of questions include: Contextual, Literary, Exegetical, Textual, Theological, Comparative, and Applicational questions. These are tucked in the back of every E°W so you can start to dive right in. Along with these are suggested tips on how to maximize the use of this Bible study tool.
